LANDSCAPE ENHANCEMENT TEAM LEADER:

Landscape Enhancement Team Leader Role:

This non-exempt position helps the company accomplish its goals by performing various property improvement tasks related to and involving the installation of turf, shrubs, trees, flowers, hardscapes, as well as clean-ups, mulching, pruning, completing basic irrigation and drainage tasks, snow services, and site management. This position must be able to operate diverse landscape tools and equipment (e.g., compactor, saws, blowers, skid steer) as required on assigned job sites.

Essential Function Examples:

1. Performs landscape enhancement functions (e.g planting, drainage, irrigation, grading, pavers), use of hand tools (e.g. rake, shovel, pick), powered equipment (e.g. saws, drills, compactor, aerator), vehicle, equipment (e.g skid steer, mini excavator), and trailer operation proficiently and safely.

2. Clearly communicates with team members, managers, and interfaces with clients when necessary.

3. Plans and organizes tasks for team members on job sites and completes within labor goals without sacrificing quality.

4. Demonstrates an independent understanding of routine maintenance procedures (e.g. cleaning, weeding, planting, watering, and plant knowledge).

5. Provides operational guidance, training, and coaching to Team Members.

6. Is prepared and organized with tools, supplies and equipment needed to perform work.

7. Maintains tools, equipment, vehicle, and trailer in good operating condition.

8. Completes administrative duties in Aspire software (e.g. clocking in-out team members, starts and stops proper work tickets, inputs actual materials, punch lists, creates issues).

9. Interprets all aspects of landscape plans and can perform proper layout of plant material.

10. Performs winter services (e.g. snow clearing, snow plowing, shoveling, salting) as needed.

11. Role model for PPE usage and safety policies and procedures.

Qualification Requirements:

1. At least (2) years plus of professional landscape and installation management experience similar to that described above.

2. Must possess a strong skill set including performing of essential landscape functions, and equipment operation.

3. Is a great communicator, trainer, and manager to team members.

4. Self-driven to develop personal knowledge to grow and improve skills and expertise.

5. A valid Class D driver’s license is required of this job classification.
