All recertification forms must be submitted online.
No paper recertification forms will be provided.
The 2022 recertification form is due by February 15, 2023.
A $50 late fee will be applied to any forms received between 2/16/23 - 12/31/23.
After 12/31/23, the MCLP designation will be revoked for anyone who did not submit their recertification form.
For your convenience, MCLPs may use this CREDIT TRACKING WORKSHEET to keep track of your credits throughout the year. Simply refer to your worksheet when you fill out your online RTS. This credit tracking worksheet cannot be used as your recertification form. It is for your convenience and reference only.
MLP members: recertification is free with membership renewal
Non-MLP Members: $75.00 recertification fee
Late fee (after 2/15): $50.00 for members or non-members
Recertification is not considered complete until payment (either membership dues or non-member recertification fee) is made.
November 1 | online recertification form opens |
November 1 - February 15 | online recertification forms collected along with membership dues or non-member fees. Annual MCLP cards mailed weekly. |
February 16 - May 31 | Reminders will be sent to lapsed MCLPs and a $50 late fee imposed. MCLP cards mailed monthly. |
June 1 | Hard copy mailing to lapsed MCLPs - this is the final request for missing recertification form. |
September 1 | Lapsed MCLPs with no response to above outreach will be expired on September 1. |
Reinstatement requests are reviewed by the MCLP Committee. A lapsed MCLP will be considered for reinstatement only when the following criterion are met:
1. Less than 3 years have lapsed since the last recertification form submitted.
2. A current recertification form has been received that indicates ANY / ALL credits earned in the intervening years since the last recertification form was submitted. Use the "other credit" text boxes to include information and details.
3. A letter of reinstatement request is sent, containing an explanation of the lapse (ie, medical, out of country, left industry). Please send this letter to the certification coordinator, Carrie Martin.
4. Once reinstatement terms have been met above, and reinstatement is approved, a $250 reinstatement fee will be collected.
