Artisan Land Care is a Division of Land Design Associates. Our fast-growing team is looking for a dedicated Fine Gardener / Container Specialist. Working for Artisan Land Care, a division of Land Design Associates, you will provide niche gardening to a premium class of customers in the Cohasset/Hingham/Norwell area. Our company is known for the highest level of professionalism and expertise in creating and maintaining extraordinary properties on the South Shore. This part-time to full-time, seasonal position (mid-March through mid-December) offers opportunities for growth and an extensive benefits package.
The role focuses on managing container gardens, seasonal plant displays, and general landscape care for residential properties, guaranteeing vibrant and attractive exterior environments. This opportunity is perfect for candidates passionate about plant health, garden design, and overall landscape maintenance. You will collaborate directly with our Lead Container Specialist to work with clients and take ownership of projects. You will apply your horticultural knowledge and creativity and open your mind to learning new techniques in order to design impressive enhancements for our beloved clients.

In Collaboration with the Lead Container Specialist, Responsibilities Include:

Planning, installing, and maintaining container gardens, planter arrangements, and landscape beds

Performing routine landscape upkeep such as watering, weeding, soil care, and general maintenance

Providing comprehensive gardening care for landscapes including weeding, pruning, and plant bed amendments to promote plant health

Communicating with clients, offering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships
-
Working closely with the Lead Container Specialist and clients to achieve desired garden aesthetics at every property
-
Proactively presenting new opportunities for business (enhancements) to clients
-
Coordinating and managing plant orders and deliveries for annuals, seasonal containers and decorating
-
Reconciling plants after enhancement projects are completed, tracking materials with the mobile app (Aspire) while on site and submitting these to the Business Administrator for billing

Safely operating landscaping equipment, irrigation systems, and hand/power tools or willingness to learn

Coordinating and organizing with the team on larger projects when additional support may be required
Requirements:
-
1-3 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container gardening

Strong knowledge of plants, soil management, fertilization, and pest control or willingness to learn

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions, able to lift 30lbs

Detail‑oriented with excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with landscape design principles is a plus

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Basic computer competency
