Flora Explora is located in Walpole, MA and we make the world a more beautiful place! This position requires an entrepreneurial spirit and a "can do" attitude. We work under tight production deadlines with live plants and flowers. Efficient work methods, vendor relationships and sourcing are key to our success. We deliver high end, quality indoor and outdoor seasonal plantings to Greater Boston commercial properties (Hotels, high end residential towers, Class A commercial office buildings). Design & implement training systems to support the team and take Flora Explora to the next level. We are a small company looking for someone who can wear a lot of hats and help to handle all aspects of the business.
What we are looking for:
Do you thrive on logistics, production & mentoring the team? This is a new position for an "A" player in a successful, woman owned business. Looking for a highly organized, detail oriented Manager to take over operational responsibilities from the owner so she can focus on sales and strategic planning. Your primary focus will be day to day operations, logistics, production, planning, purchasing and scheduling. Business management and technology experience required. Horticultural or landscape enhancement experience helpful. Ability to prioritize and adapt easily to change.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of 3 years Operations experience
- Purchasing/sourcing
- Team building and training
- Proficient in implementing business Technology
- Scheduling and logistics
- Lives within 45 minutes to Walpole MA
- Bilingual a plus but not required
