Earn MCLP Recertification Credit

There are two primary ways that MCLP Education and Safety Credits are earned:

In-person Events:
For in-person events, evidence of your attendance must be retained in case you are audited.  Many events will have a sign-in sheet specifically for MCLPs or some may provide a takeaway form.  Others are honor system entirely - please retain your registration receipt or other evidence of your attendance.

Online Events:
For online events not associated with MLP, please complete the Webinar Confirmation Form below to document that you viewed and participated.  To earn credit for one of these webinars, you must submit a confirmation form.

MLP Education

MCLP credit is always earned for participation in MLP events.

2.0 CEUS are granted for MLP educational webinars.  Completing the follow-up quiz is required to earn MCLP credit (and often credits from other organizations as well).

Register for upcoming MLP events at the home page.

Allied Organizations

Credits are typically granted for programs offered by the following allied organizations.  Please visit their websites (linked below) to find educational opportunities of interest.  Curious if MCLP credit can be awarded?  Contact Carrie Martin.

UMASS Extension

Massachusetts Arborists Association

MA Association of Lawncare Professionals

MA Department of Conservation & Recreation

MA Tree Wardens and Foresters Association

New England Wildflower Society

Arnold Arboretum

If you are sponsoring an event that you'd like approved for credit, please review the information about CEU requests.

Earn MCLP CEUs Online

MCLPs can earn continuing education credits by viewing online webinars.  Most webinars will grant at least 0.5 education CEUs - some will grant more.
